Over the last couple of days you probably have heard more talk from Obama about lobbyists, the democrats, and how they will be the party of the “ordinary” American.  DNC Chairman Howard Dean even continued with this rheotric today as well.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t receive tens of thousands of dollars from people randomly, but Obama does.  However for him, these people are not so random it comes to seem.

This article is from last year, but it shows how Obama’s claim that he doesn’t accept money from special interest is just false.  He’s just more sneaky about it.

Obama says, his campaign accepts no money from Washington lobbyists or from Political Action Committees or PACs.

But Obama has left a few loopholes that allow him to fund his campaign much the way other candidates do — with contributions from wealthy special interests. While railing against the “stranglehold that lobbyists and special interests have on our democracy,” his campaign coffers are filled with money from people who work for corporations and law firms that lobby the federal government.
