Palin says Obama palling around with terrorists

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is accusing Democrat Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists” for his association with a former 1960s radical.

Palin was referring to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. The group took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

In remarks to GOP donors in Englewood, Colo., on Saturday, Palin said Obama seems to see the U.S. as being so imperfect that, in her words, “he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.”

Obama served on a charity board with Ayers in Chicago and has denounced his past activities.

Ayers wrote a grant to help reform Chicago schools, got the grant, and started an organization. The organization had a policy arm headed by Ayers and a financial/business arm headed by Obama. Ayers hand picked Obama for this position. They served together for years.
This organization donated $70K (remember Obama held the purse) to Rashid Kalidi's foundation. Kalidi was the director of the PLO Press Agency in the 80's when the PLO was still a designated terrorist organization.
Obama's political career was launched at a dinner for Obama in Ayers home.

I think the so-called Keating scandal is different than associating yourself with people who attacked our own country.

I believe some Americans have forgotten about 9/11. If they sit back and think about how easy and long the terriorist were in America and what all they have done to try and destroy America what makes people think they would not try to get some one into our government to control what happens. Just my thought I remember 9/11 and when I heard Obama was part Muslim I thought to myself no wonder his veiws for America seem so perfect. I was originally for Obama and I know McCain's not much better but America sit back and think why does he seem to be saying just what we need to hear.
