We are Staying!

First off, let me say thank you to all who have written me today asking me to keep the site open. I really wasn’t sure what to do with it after the minimal victory for Obama, but I have decided to keep it open.

We have seen throughout this election the media do everything they can to help Obama win, and it paid off for them. We can’t rely on them to report anything truthful about Obama, so we have to continue.

The election yesterday will only be a good thing for us in the long run. Conservatives will finally get back to real conservatism instead of worry about appeasing the center and trying not to anger the left. Democrats have full control of the government, and with that we have Obama, Pelosi, and Reid at the helm. What a troubling thought indeed.

We will be there to point out their failures, we will be there to point out their fraud, we will be there to defeat them!

Yes. This site should go to hell. Obama is NOW president elect. There is no argument. In a country that stands by their beliefs of freedom, equality, and opportunity for all; giving this man a chance is a great thing. He was elected by committed voters all across the United States, not by a small margin but by at tsumai of votes that flooded this election for OUR opportunity to see change. Barack in the media looks good and I truely believe that in person he will be the same. NO MAN is perfect. You may find fault in him and his campaign, but honestly HATERZ, do you walk down the street telling everyone your faults. Bush never told us he was stupid. He's been around for eight year. All Im saying is give this wonderful man a chance. He is a simple man that want to do his job and strengthen our country and us as people. It not that hard of a idea to come to terms with. I pray that everyone who logs on to this site understands that one man can not bring change to a country for the better without everyone moving towards to same goals. PEACE, WEALTH, AND PROSPERITY

Give him a chance? Did the media and most of the public give Palin a chance? No. They criticized her and scrutinized since the day she was nominated. Telling us to give Obama a chance is hypocritical.

She ran as vice president not for president. If your running being someone who can't change your opinion of them, then that person looks like crap too. If they lose cause Mccain wasn't coming across to people strong enough then as potential vice president you definiately did not do your job. Behind every strong person look beside them for the people that may give them strength in their choices..

  • americansagainstobama

Wonderful man? LOL. You don't know anything about him.

None of you liberals ever tried to unite or support Bush, and now you demand we become part of the Obama cult?

  • michelle

Thank you for keeping up this website. I keep hearing about first African American President. What about the fact that Obama's mother is white, his grandmother that RAISED him was white and the father that is black, abandoned him. Why does Obama disregard his Causcasian roots. If you want to reunite the country and try to believe that Obama isn't prejudice even though he doesn't embrace his own white roots and befriends Reverend Wright maybe he should call himself bi-racial.

  • Ashley

First of all, Obama is going to run our country even further into the ground with the solutions he has to the nation's problems. Do you realize how many jobs will be lost because of the tax bracket he has. When Obama puts us further into turmoil I'm gonna be laughing at all you people who voted for him. One man cannot bring a country down. It takes all the supporters and voters that voted for him to guarantee we are all screwed. No one on this site voted for McCain because we are racist. We voted for him because he can handle this country and pull us out of this unstable economy. You probably voted for him because of his race. I'm really heated at how you call us conservatives racists because we actually know the views of our candidate. Open your eyes before it's to late.

All that I can say is I simply despise our pres-elect. Why might you ask?? I will tell you. I served in the US Marine Corps for 8 years with many service decorations, 1 being a Purple Heart. I cannot tell you how many times I have stood at attention during The National Anthem, saluted my National Ensign, and fought in wars to defend this nation and its people, all of its people. Now I have to settle for a bastard that thinks the National Anthem is oppressive and does not respect our National Ensign. As far as I am concerned, he can rot in hell cover in pigskin!

    Semper Fi.

I pray that the Republicans and Conservatives will finally wake up before Obama and his followers destroy everything the founding fathers started. Two major elections were lost – Let there not be a third one. We do have a mid term election coming up. It's time for a another Boston Tea Party and American Revolution. We need a Thomas Paine, a Thomas Jefferson, and a Patrick Henry. I bet Obama doesn't know who those people are – I know my students in high school and college don't know them.

What do we do now? It's time to fight like never before – We must not let President Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama destroy this country. I just heard an African American athlete say it's time they do something. Oh my God!

  • Tiffany

Thank you for keeping this website up and running. The media is bias, even though they say they are not. The video with the teacher poling her class on who they'd vote for, with her responses to those that said McCain was sickening. No teacher should ever tell a child that has a parent in Iraq that if McCain wins your daddy will be there for another 100 years. That comment made me sick to my stomach and wonder – what is my teacher telling my children?

We have a new president elect. There are 70+ days until the transition. As Amercans, we need to support our new President, whether we voted for him or not. Promised made during the campaign cannot wait until Jan 20th. People have lost their jobs, with more job cuts right and left, and are losing or have already lost their homes. 700 Billion bank bail out – Put some of that money towards helping Americans from becoming homeless families.

I would love to see this site create check list list of promises made to the American people during the campaign and starting Jan 20th put a clock next to each promise to see how long it takes Obama to keep those promises EXACTLY the way he presented them during his campaign. No changes, alterations or deletions. America voted for change and on his platform that he could fix the economy, create jobs, help those that are losing their homes, reduce health care costs, have a solid plan for America to become engery indepedent and end two wars.

BTW – Russia released a startling message on Wendesday.

  • Tiffany

Supporting our troops and their families needs to be on the top of the short list. Before, during and after we win the wars.

He's Black! He's Black! He's Black! That's all you here! What's the deal? All African-American Church members that voted for this muslum should be ashamed of theirselves. This great Country, it's laws, civil rights even human rights was birthed from the 1611 King James Bible! The Bible that this muslum has clearly blasphemed many times!! Wo unto me! This shakes the very foundation of evey freedom that we in America and only in America have!!!

  • Letty

I wonder if all of the negative things that are being said on this website would be said if our President Elect were a White man. Would Conservatives be so adamant about the opinion of Obama running the country further into the ground if he were all Caucasian? The fact is: this is the man that the majority chose to run this country. Many of you are premeditating his failure before he's even inaugurated! How can he be blamed for something that he hasn't even done yet?? While there are many people who didn't approve of George W Bush being our country's President, we did what we had to as American citizens to go on with life. The same thing applies now. We as a country need to focus on doing our part as citizens and back this man up regardless of how we THINK he may perform. I totally agree with blogger Carolyn… give Barack Obama a chance. I'm not here to call anyone names, point fingers, or tally faults. Give the man a chance.

  • americansagainstobama

What is it with you people and race? Obama's policies are the problem, not his race. How many times do you need to be told that?

  • hawkeye

Man, some of you Americans are special indeed. Just accept that after an unsuccessful period of Republican rule that has left the world in economic crisis and left everyone in it looking over their shoulders in a perpetual state of paranoia and fear, the American electorate has woken up, smelt the coffee and voted for change…you guys have witnessed democracy in action, and I for one commend you for it.
From my own viewpoint (and I readily accept I do not live in the US so maybe I have not been exposed to as much propaganda as you guys) the best man won. You cannot argue with a democratic election (Actually Bush did quite successfully in Florida last time around), although im sure someone will give it a go.
Nows the time to get behind your new president and get this economy back on track again. Politicians can argue the toss about this till the cows come home, but I firmly believe everyone has a part to play in sorting this out. It is time everyone took responsibility for their own debts. It is time everybody (by this I mean individuals, companies, governments, countries, everybody!) took responsibility for their finances and started to live within their means. If the global economy is currently shrinking then it is time for everyone to tighten their belts and sit it out.
I would welcome constructive debate regarding this.

  • Ashley

I won't participate of back up Obama as a president because I am not for helping to bring this country down. Who cares if we judge him before he is officially sworn in. Everyone judges people when they first see them. If you see a gothic teenager walking down the street what do you do when you first see them? You judge them. Don't tell us not to judge the highest authority if we think he will make the U.S. crash and burn. The whole presidential election is based on judgment and based on the voting America has poor judgement.

  • Ashley

So what do you know of the “better man” ? Do you know where he actually stands on the issues? You said you didn't live in the U.S. so you're not entirely effected by this as we Americans are. You don't have to suffer the taxes and the economy.

Please let me know what the change is going to be? I went in with an open mind at the beginning of the election listening to both candidates. I heard change, change, change, from Obama and Biden, but still, I have no idea what that change is going to be.
I will not join the Obama cult because of this. I love my country and will stay in it. I will not pull the “I will move to another country because I do not like who was voted into office” card.
I hope to God in one year I am wrong, but I do not think I will be. If I am, I will gladly admit it, and move on. That is what is so wonderful about this country. We shall see what this miraculous “change” is going to be. I just hope it does not go against everything our forefathers fought for, i.e., liberty and freedom.
I was not crazed for either candidate that was laid before me in this election. I voted, and my candidate did not win. I accept that. I will listen to what my president says; I may not like it at all times and at other times, I may agree. I will never be able to accept the fact that so many American citizens voted so blindly. I do not believe that many of them looked into the facts before they voted.
Please do not call me a hater. I am not. I sincerely did my homework on both candidates. I honestly do not think Obama has enough time as a leader to automatically become one.

It is so typical that (for lack of a better term or way to phrase it) liberals demand tolerance. Yet, if anyone disagrees with them, we should “Go to hell”. Where is the tolerance for MY views. I am sick of the double standard of the United States today. By the way, Al Quida does not want peace and Obama now makes my job more dangerous as in my job, I will be on the 'front lines' when terrorists strike in the US. Bush has had the wisdom to fight them outside of our borders.

  • A

Thank you! I hope we can all stand up to the horrors that will be presented to us.
