Obama once again is trying to get support for the useless government spending bill claiming it will create jobs and “stimulate” the economy. The fact is this bill will do neither, and only put us further into debt.
Obama and his democrat minions in the House and Senate have shown they have no desire to work together on this bill, and Obama’s arrogance is really starting to show. Even though the media is pushing for this bill, refusing to report on it’s pork and what the bill can’t accomplish, public support is dwindling.
Republicans, with the exception of a few RINO’s, have stood their ground in opposition of the Porkulus bill.
“Democrats have controlled both branches of government for less than a month. And you have to wonder if all that power has gone to their heads,” Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said in the GOP’s weekly address. “For the last two weeks, they’ve been trying to force a massive spending bill through Congress under the guise of economic relief.”
