Tax Day Tea Party – Nationwide Protests!
The Tax Day Tea Parties are getting organized, and this just makes me so excited to see people coming out against the nonsense of both the GOP and Democrats.
“The Tax Day Tea Party on April 15 is focused on one theme: Repeal the Pork, Cut Taxes and Spending. There are more than 500 tea parties confirmed for that day, and it is expected that over the next week and a half, the number of tea parties will continue to grow. Crowds of 5,000 to 10,000 are expected in multiple cities, including Atlanta, where Sean Hannity of Fox News will be broadcasting live, Sacramento, where Neal Cavuto will host his show, San Antonio, where Glenn Beck will broadcast, and New York City, where Newt Gingrich will be a featured speaker.”

Summers took millions from hedge funds, TARP recipients
The Obama administration has mastered the art of the Friday Night Disclosure. They tried to avoid media scrutiny over the revelation that National Economic Council chair Lawrence Summers made millions from the same people demonized by Barack Obama and the Democrats for the economic collapse.

Democrats Using False Statistics in Mexico Gun Claims
I have stated before that Obama and his democrat tools in power are using Mexico as an excuse to place excessive gun bans on the American people. The latest claim they are using is that 90% of the gun used in crimes in Mexico come from the U.S. As with most liberal talking points, this is false!
“In fact, it’s not even close. By all accounts, it’s probably around 17 percent. What’s true, an ATF spokeswoman told FOXNews.com, in a clarification of the statistic used by her own agency’s assistant director, “is that over 90 percent of the traced firearms originate from the U.S.”
But a large percentage of the guns recovered in Mexico do not get sent back to the U.S. for tracing, because it is obvious from their markings that they do not come from the U.S.
“Not every weapon seized in Mexico has a serial number on it that would make it traceable, and the U.S. effort to trace weapons really only extends to weapons that have been in the U.S. market,” Matt Allen, special agent of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), told FOX News.”
So once again, another lie just to take guns away from Americans.
NYT killed story to protect Obama
The Philadelphia Bulletin reports that the New York Times – “all the news that’s fit to print” – sat on an election-season about illegal ties between the Obama campaign and ACORN because it could have been a “game-changer.”
Heather Heidelbaugh, who represented the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee in the lawsuit against the group, recounted for the ommittee what she had been told by a former ACORN worker who had worked in the group’s Washington, D.C. office. The former worker, Anita Moncrief, told Ms. Heidelbaugh last October, during the state committee’s litigation against ACORN, she had been a “confidential informant for several months to The New York Times reporter, Stephanie Strom.”

A Truly Breathtaking Departure
Team Obama fired GM CEO Rick Wagoner Sunday afternoon, just a short time after Treasury man Tim Geithner told the television talk shows that some banks will need large amounts of new TARP-money government assistance — even though the bankers don’t want it. Does this smack of big-time government planning and industrial policy? Another lurch to the left for economic policy?
