Do you remember back in February, Barack Obama said, "You can’t get corporate jets, you can’t go take a trip to Las Vegas or go down to the Super Bowl on the taxpayer’s dime."?
Yeah, good Obama taking a big stand against that waste, right? Well no.
Though the Democratic Senate majority leader’s May 26 fundraiser at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace will feature Strip headliner Midler and songstress Crow, the biggest draw will be the commander in chief himself.
Nevada’s glitterati have been clamoring for a visit since Obama turned the swing state blue, though we suspect the president might want to steer clear of some parts of town.
So once again, do as I say, not as I do.

Support Marco Rubio for Senate, Not Crist
We have another RINO wanting to head to Washington, and that is Florida governor Charlie Crist. Crist is a so-called “moderate”, which in reality is another term for liberal. These are the people we need to get rid of, not vote for in upcoming elections.
Crist is a supporter of Obama’s stimulus plan, and likes to make public appearances with him throughout the state. Do not support him. Marco Rubio is also running, and deserves your support.
House to Increase Members’ Budgets
In another case of “do as I say, not as I do”, House members are looking to increase their budgets at the expense of the tax payer.
We are supposed to be cutting back, but that doesn’t apply to Washington.
“The House wants to increase Members’ office budgets next fiscal year by almost 15 percent, partly because 2010 is an election year and lawmakers anticipate a surge in franked mail.
In a recently released budget request, the House Chief Administrative Officer asked appropriators to raise the Members’ Representational Allowances — which fund everything needed to run offices, including salaries, travel and supplies — by $90 million, citing increases “due to the election year cycle.”

Nancy Pelosi…You Are a Liar!
If you didn’t know this already, you must have your head in the sand.
“Pelosi issued a statement after CIA records released this week showed that Pelosi was briefed in September 2002 on the interrogation methods. The briefings memo appeared to contradict the speaker’s claims that she was never told that waterboarding or other enhanced interrogation methods were being used.”
Pelosi has been busted. She has lied about republicans for years, and she is once again showing how she is one of the worst leaders in the federal government today. Of course the left is silent on this, as they are so hypocritical it isn’t even funny anymore.
She needs to resign, and republicans need to push it.

White House Refuses to Release NY Photo-Op Images
When it comes to releasing images that may damage the security of the United States, Obama has no problem with it and will gladly distribute them all over the world. However, if its images of a botched photo-op that scared thousands of New Yorkers into thinking they were under another terrorist attack, it’s just not going to happen.
Hey Obama supporters, what happened to all that “transparency” you keep talking about?
