According to Obama, yes it is.  The United States is facing double-digit unemployment, a worthless dollar, a losing battle in Afghanistan, so one would think the President of the United States should be focused on these issues.  Not Dear Leader.

He obviously seems to think it’s more important to travel thousands of miles to lobby for the Olympics to come to Chicago, and will do whatever is necessary for his Chicago thug cronies.

Thanks again Obama!

So by lobbing for the Olympics thus bringing employment options to over 10,000 people and adding hundreds of millions of dollars to the local and national economy is not important?

You make it sound all nice and peachy, just like the media. But just as with them, you are wrong. Billions are spent to host the Olympics, and the taxpayer will foot some of the bill. Jobs are often contracted out of country for things like this.

With all the things going on right now, this was a stupid attempt to payback political favors to Obama’s Chicago thugs.
