If you are a hard working American you most likely pay your fair share of taxes to the huge waste machine we call the federal government. Nobody likes doing it, but hey, it’s one of those things we unfortunately have to do. That goes for everyone except for Charlie Rangel. Mr. Rangel is of course a democrat, and so happens to be the chariman of the Ways and Means Committee, who essentially writes the tax code.
I would think most Americans would want an honest and ethical person at the head of this committee, but unfortunately we have another corrupt democrat who has reportedly failed to report and pay up to $1.3 million in taxes.
Republicans today tried once again to remove Rangel from his position, and were of course defeated by democrats. Of course they call it a “partisan effort” to get rid of Rangel, but is it really partisan when trying to remove a tax cheat from the position of writing tax laws?
According to democrats it is.

“This leadership team will create the most honest, most open, and most ethical Congress in history”
