Michelle Obama and Darden Restaurants

Michelle Obama, just like her husband,is another big government loon which I’m sure you already knew.  In between her million dollar vacations she likes to spend her time harassing people and restaurants on what they should eat.  Lets be clear here first- yes, people should watch what they eat and try to make healthy choices.  However, it is not the role of the federal government or anyone occupying the White House to coerce citizens and restaurant owners to serve and eat what they think is right for you.

I would say Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc.) gave into pressure, but it seems Michelle Malkin has uncovered a better reason for their compliance.  Yes, Darden Restaurants was the lucky recipient of an ObamaCare waiver!  Now it all makes sense!  We know ObamaCare hurts businesses and raises taxes, and it’s difficult to get an exact number on what Darden will save with this waiver, but we can be sure it’s worth enough to give in to Michelle’s scam.
