Way to go Obama!
“WASHINGTON — The government ran up the largest monthly deficit in history in February, keeping the flood of red ink on track to top last year’s record for the full year.
The Treasury Department said Wednesday that the February deficit totaled $220.9 billion, 14 percent higher than the previous record set in February of last year.
The deficit through the first five months of this budget year totals $651.6 billion, 10.5 percent higher than a year ago.”
These people are incredible. Only a democrat can stand up and say it’s a great day in American when only 36,000 people lost their jobs.
These people have no clue, and they could really care less how many people lost their job. It’s just more people that could end up on government entitlements. Instead of trying to get America working again, they are focused on this stupid health care bill.
Lower taxes and get people working again!
Obama’s show summit yesterday on health care “reform” backfired big-time on him yesterday. His arrogance, along with many other democrats, believed the GOP would rollover and just defend insurance companies as they think. Oh were they wrong. We can give Obama some credit though, he did make it through several hours without his teleprompter, which in looking back, he probably should have used it because as usual, he was a bumbling idiot without it.
There are too many exchanges to list here, but this is one of the best.
Republicans brought facts and issues to the table, democrats came with their usual whining and sympathy stories. Obama lied many times about things like premiums not going up, which Republicans once again came out on top with facts.
Obama, give up this charade. We know this is all about government control and socialism. America doesn’t want it!
While the White House and their propaganda minions go on their “road to recovery” spree on Twitter, the rest of America is feeling the effects of the Obama economy and it’s only going to get worse.
Sales of newly built U.S. single-family homes unexpectedly fell to a record low in January, according to government data on Wednesday that hinted at potential trouble for the fragile housing market recovery.
The Commerce Department said sales dropped 11.2 percent to a 309,000 unit annual rate, the lowest level since records started in January 1963, from an upwardly revised 348,000 in December.
It was the third straight month that new home sales fell and the percentage decline in January was the largest in a year.
It’s no surprise really considering the unemployment rate, regardless of what the Obama “road to recovery” image says. All the White House seems to care about is forcing their government health care bill through. I sometimes wonder how America will make it to 2012.
The Tea Party movement is growing, and it has the liberals, progressives, or whatever they call themselves now running scared. Of course when that happens, it is time to call in the leftist media to help attack the Tea Party. Expect this to get worse as the mid-term elections roll around as democrats are expecting heavy losses this year.
The latest disgusting display from the so-called media in this country is them trying to relate the domestic terrorist attack on the IRS last week to the Tea Party. This was a terrible act by a deranged person, but there is absolutely no evidence at all to support the claims by the mainstream media that he has ties to the Tea Party.
Quite the opposite actually.
His “manifesto” that was posted seems to indicate he hated just about everything, including George Bush, capitalism, and others. Certainly doesn’t sound like a Tea Partier to me.
Thank goodness, but don’t think the liberals will give it up entirely.
WASHINGTON — The liberals’ longtime dream of a government-run health care system for all died Wednesday in the Senate, but Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont vowed it will return when the realization dawns that private insurance companies "are no longer needed."
Sanders, an independent and socialist, said his approach is the only one "which eliminates the hundreds of billions of dollars in waste, administrative costs, bureaucracy and profiteering that is engendered by the private insurance companies." His remarks drew handshakes and even a hug or two from Democrats who had filed into the Senate to hear him.

In the ongoing effort to become the most corrupt White House in recent history, the Obama administration cut 60,000 jobs from a “stimulus” report. This was in response to inflated job creation reports which were described as “unrealistic”.
The stimulus hasn’t worked, it hasn’t created job, and now they are scrambling to make themselves look good.
In a late night vote, Speaker Pelosi rammed her un-Constitutional health care bill through with just a 5 vote majority. This was done late in the night so it wouldn’t get much media coverage, and so people couldn’t organize as well to oppose it. Yes, this is the Pelosi who promised to give the public 72 hours to view the bill before voting. Liars.
This bill raise taxes on everyone, it fines people who do not comply with government coverage, and it throws you in jail if you don’t pay and comply further. What has happened to America?
“The legislation would require most Americans to carry insurance and provide federal subsidies to those who otherwise could not afford it. Large companies would have to offer coverage to their employees. Both consumers and companies would be slapped with penalties if they defied the government’s mandates.”
“A cheer went up from the Democratic side of the House when the bill gained 218 votes, a majority. Moments later, Democrats counted down the final seconds of the voting period in unison, and let loose an even louder roar when Pelosi grabbed the gavel and declared, "the bill is passed."
Call these people and express that we do not want government run healthcare!
A day after Majority Leader Harry Reid announced that the Democratic bill would include the option of a government insurance plan, moderates in his own party lost no time Tuesday in voicing their displeasure. Reid, D-Nev., needs every Democrat to break the filibusters Republicans are vowing to mount. But some of the moderates refuse to say whether they’ll stick with their leader on procedural votes, let alone those on the merits of the bill.
