Nancy Pelosi, leader of the 9% Congress who refuse to get anything done had this to say about Bush.
“the president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject."
Pelosi, 68, said the House and Senate were busy "trying to sweep up after (Bush’s) mess over and over and over again … The president knows it. He needs something to talk about. Because he has no ideas."
Unbelievable. Does she realize she is the leader of the worst Congress in recent history? Gas prices have spiked since the democrats have taken power, and they still won’t take action.
Make some time today and tell Pelosi what you think, I certainly did.

In case you needed more proof that democrats have no idea about oil and energy we take a look at the latest nonsense from Nancy Pelosi.
‘House Speaker Nancy Pelosi asked President Bush on Tuesday to draw down a portion of the country’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve as a way to reduce crude prices and help motorists who are suffering from the rising cost of gasoline.”
Hold on there Pelosi. You complain about gas prices and want Bush to open the oil reserves to ease the cost? At the same time people like you and Obama oppose drilling for our own resources, what is that all about?
I guess we know why Congress has only a 9% approval rating, and republicans should be nailing democrats to the wall with this, but as usual they won’t.
Another survey by Rasmussen shows that McCain’s lead in Florida increased when voters were told McCain supports off-shore drilling, and Obama doesn’t.
The Florida survey also found that McCain currently leads Obama in the state by a 47% to 39% margin. Six percent (6%) said they would vote for some other candidate while 8% are undecided.
However, after voters were told that McCain favored offshore drilling and Obama opposed it, McCain’s lead increased to eleven points, 49% to 38%. While a three-point net gain is not stunning, it is significant that the issue didn’t push voters towards Obama. All of McCain’s gains on the offshore drilling issue came from male voters.
I’m pretty convinced this years election will ride a lot upon gas prices. Republicans have done a poor job at nailing the democrats on this issue, when they could take them to the bank with it. I would bet the overwhelming majority of Americans would favor drilling for our own resources, and that is a ticket to win if McCain’s campaign would get a spine.
McCain’s campaign needs to point out that while off-shore drilling is not a long term solution, it will help in the short term especially with the speculators scam that is going on. But they really need to push how Obama and the democrats oppose the U.S. from drilling its own resources, and how they have done so for years. McCain could sweep the election with this issue alone, but I’m not so sure they are willing to do it.
Newt Gingrich has a petition going that is getting very close to the 1 million signed mark, and I wanted to help promote it to get this thing over the top.
We, therefore, the undersigned citizens of the United States, petition the U.S. Congress to act immediately to lower gasoline prices (and diesel and other fuel prices)* by authorizing the exploration of proven energy reserves to reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources from unstable countries.

A much needed Bill to allow Offshore drilling has been nixed by the democrats. There is absolutely no reason to keep the United States from drilling off it’s own coast, when other countries are drilling very near it. Drilling for our own oil is not the best long term solution to this problem, but it will certainly help us in our quest.
If Republicans were smart they would nail the democrats with this issue, but I’m sure they won’t. This should be put to a national vote as I have no doubt the overwhelming majority of Americans would approve.
